IUS

Definition:

The intrauterine system (IUS) is a hormonal form of contraception and a LARC (long acting reversible contraception). Similarly to the copper coil (IUD), it's a small T-shaped device that sits in your uterus. Unlike the IUD, however, it releases progestogen.
