Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is a common vaginal infection caused by the overgrowth of bad bacteria naturally found in the vagina. BV causes unplesant, foul-smelling discharge. One in three people with a vagina get it at some point in their life, and it's common for the condition to come back.
