Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is a common vaginal infection caused by the overgrowth of bad bacteria naturally found in the vagina. BV causes unpleasant, foul-smelling discharge. 1 in 3 people with a vagina get it at some point in their life, and it's common for the condition to come back.
