Biodegradable

Definition:

A substance or object capable of decomposing naturally and in a way that is not harmful to the environment, therefore not causing pollution. Although the term does not have a specific time limit attributed to it, it's assumed that a biodegradable substance takes less time to break down than the maximum of 1000 years than it can take some plastics.
