Daye is the company changing the game for people with periods. But Big Tech is getting in our way.
Platforms like Facebook and Google have a blanket ban in place when it comes to advertising gynae health products of any kind (crazy, right?). This means that the Daye tampon, which is proven to help women with their menstrual and vaginal health, cannot reach the people who desperately need it.
The irony is this: Big Tech platforms are happy to advertise mainstream painkillers that were never even tested on women, as well as erectile dysfunction pills, but automatically reject a product that is extensively tested, scientifically-backed, clinically validated, and ISO 13485 certified. We know our products improve the quality of life of people with periods, but without the right platforms, our audience is being kept in the dark.
So we decided to get payback for our customers.
From this month, we’re pulling our advertising spend and putting it into the hands of people with periods. Sign up to Daye, and enter a raffle for £1000. Cash. No string attached, bar the strings on our tampons.
To enter, head over to our site and check out with the code “fbigtech” to start a new subscription. Already a Daye subscriber? Share the code “better_together” with a friend - if they check out with a subscription, you will both be enrolled in the raffle.
What better way to spend our marketing budget than to give it directly to you - our incredible community.
More people need to know about the bans on gynae health products, which prevent people from accessing the treatments they so desperately need. We believe everyone, everywhere has the right to talk about periods and vaginas, and we’d love for you to join us in this fight if you agree.
As always, here's to periods. We won't shut up about it, even if companies 1000x our size try to bully us into quitting.
