Our Nude tampons are made from 100% organic, and sustainably sourced cotton fibres. Our CBD tampons comprise a proprietary cannabinoid formulation, which contains CBD, CBA, CBG and terpenes, but absolutely no THC. The cannabinoid extract we use is medical-grade, 30% concentration, and lab-tested for microbial contamination and cannabinoid content.

We have conducted safety testing, including vaginal irritation, sensitisation, microbiology and effect on TSS-toxins. While our studies have not been published yet, they have been reviewed by our Clinical Board. Human clinical trials have been completed and reviewed by independent clinicians as well. At present, regulatory authorities mandate that only prescription drugs should make their clinical evidence available to the general public. As we are not regulated as a prescription drug, we do not make our studies available publicly, so we can stay compliant with regulations. If you are a researcher and you'd like to review our data, please contact our customer care team and we'll send you a data pack.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, please consult your healthcare provider before using any products containing CBD, THC or other cannabinoids. While studies on the effects of cannabinoids on fertility are limited, we believe in prioritising patient safety and encourage you to make informed decisions about your menstruation routine. Please note that Daye's CBD tampons have not been clinically tested in pregnant or breastfeeding women & AFAB patient populations.

At Daye, we prioritize reliable scientific data and patient safety. As our clinical trials have not included patients under the age of 18, we do not recommend using our tampons if you are under 18 years old. While there is currently no evidence to suggest that Cannabidiol (CBD) is harmful to people under 18, this compound has not been extensively studied in younger patients. It is challenging to collect scientific data on how people under 18 react to new medical devices as they are rarely allowed to participate in clinical trials. Therefore, to prioritize patient safety and ensure that we have sufficient scientific data, we advise that our tampons should only be used by those aged 18 and above.

Tampons can potentially stretch or tear the hymen, but it's not a guaranteed or common occurrence. The hymen is a thin membrane that partially covers the opening of the vagina in some individuals. It can vary in thickness and elasticity from person to person. When inserting a tampon, if done carefully and gently, it typically shouldn't cause damage to the hymen. However, if a person's hymen is particularly thin or if they have a medical condition called imperforate hymen (where the hymen completely covers the vaginal opening), there is a slightly higher chance of the tampon causing some stretching or tearing.

It's important to note that the hymen can naturally stretch or tear over time due to various activities such as exercise, horseback riding, gymnastics, or even normal vaginal development. Sexual activity can also impact the hymen, but it's not the only factor in hymen integrity. In many cultures, there is a misconception that an intact hymen is a sign of virginity, but this is not a reliable indicator. Hymens can vary greatly in appearance and resilience, and not all individuals with intact hymens have never engaged in sexual activity.

Keep in mind that virginity is a social construct and a cultural concept, not a biological reality. It is reshaped by societal norms and expectations, rather than an inherent physical state.

We have conducted safety testing, including vaginal irritation, sensitisation, material-mediated pyrogenicity, microbiology and effect on TSS-toxins. Some of our studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders. All Daye studies are designed and reviewed by an independent Clinical Advisory Board, comprising physicians, clinicians and researchers specialising in gynaecological health.

Producing tampons to our strict safety and sustainability standards does come at a cost. But we've worked hard to keep our Organic Tampons competitively priced with other premium organic options. Our CBD Tampons provide great value too - you'd pay more buying a quality organic tampon and a separate CBD product. With Daye, you get both in a single easy-to-use tampon.

Our commitment to sustainability starts with our Organic Tampons, made from 100% organic cotton, ethically sourced from trusted partner farms. We've paired the cotton fibres with a bespoke cannabinoid formulation optional in our CBD tampons, featuring a high concentration of lab-tested Cannabidiol. Every batch is scrutinized for microbial contamination and cannabinoid content in an accredited, third-party lab, so you can feel confident about the products you are using in your most sensitive areas.

Our commitment to using only non-synthetic cannabinoids means your CBD tampon may have a unique colour, anywhere from a warm amber to a rich maroon. This is a sign of the premium quality ingredients we insist on - never bleached or artificially manipulated. Rest assured, each tampon undergoes thorough microbial and contaminant screening, as well as cannabinoid content verification, to ensure a safe and consistent product experience every time.

Ready for a longer-term relationship? Our multi-month subscriptions come with our most generous discounts. By subscribing for an extended period, you're partnering with us in a way that allows us to give you unbeatable savings. The tradeoff for this deeper commitment is that the plan can't be cancelled, but we think you'll find the value well worth it. Multi-month subscribers also have the satisfaction of knowing they're reducing their carbon footprint, as we consolidate shipments into 3-month bundles. And our tracked delivery service means you'll have full visibility as your boxes make their way to you.

Daye tampons are manufactured in accordance with medical device standards, including ISO13485 and GMP. In order for a diagnosis to be confirmed, test results from the Diagnostic Tampon should be considered by a licensed healthcare provider alongside a patient's symptoms and medical history. Like every other diagnostic test, lab results are not sufficient for a diagnosis. Daye offers customers the option to connect with independent CQC-regulated healthcare providers virtually and in-person for a confirmed diagnosis. All prescriptions and treatments provided through the Daye platform are issued by third-party, independent pharmacists, who are also regulated under CQC and GPhC.
